Gala Moderator & U.S. Olympic Silver Medalist
Courtney Thompson proudly represented the USA Volleyball team, winning a gold medal at the World Championships in Italy (2014), an Olympic silver medal in London (2012), and an Olympic bronze medal in Rio (2016). She served as a team captain from 2013–2016. She’s also a local legend, a NCAA Division 1 National Champion and played for University of Washington. Courtney has been a passionate advocate for the ZGiRLS mission since 2014. You are guaranteed to be inspired by her energy.

Michelle Carter , who is known as the “Shot Diva,” is a three-time Olympian, who made history as the first American woman to claim Olympic Gold in Women's shot put at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She appeared in three consecutive Olympic games and had the honor of being inducted into her alma mater, Texas Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2018. Beyond her incredible athletic achievements, Michelle is a captivating motivational speaker dedicated to instilling confidence and empowering individuals to become the best version of themselves.
A true advocate for confidence-building, Michelle has established herself as a mindset builder, committed to helping others elevate their performance and overcome challenges. Her passion for empowering young girls led her to found the "You Throw Girl Sports Confidence Camp," where she imparts not only the skills of shot put but also a deep sense of self-assurance.
Michelle's journey goes beyond the field, resonating with those who strive for excellence and self-discovery. She continues to champion the mission of building confidence and empowerment in the lives of young girls.

Mistie Bass-Boyd, celebrated as a WNBA champion and dynamic force in women’s basketball, has left an indelible mark on and off the court. Over her illustrious 10-year WNBA career, Mistie played for powerhouse teams such as the Houston Comets, Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, and Phoenix Mercury, achieving her pinnacle moment in 2014 by winning the WNBA championship with the Mercury. Her transition from a star athlete to a trailblazer in sports marketing at Nike showcases her versatility and leadership, driving forward the creation of innovative women’s basketball apparel.
Beyond her professional achievements, Mistie is a devoted wife and mother, whose voice echoes far beyond the basketball courts. She is a compelling motivational speaker and thought leader, passionately advocating for personal growth and empowerment.
